Supported Community Connections (SSC)
Beginning in 2026, ASAP is proud to introduce Supported Community Connections (SSC) — a program designed to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in forging meaningful connections, expanding independence, and participating fully in their neighborhoods and communities.

At the heart of SSC is the person-centered, evidence-based philosophy you see throughout ASAP. We understand that each individual has unique strengths, goals, and preferences. SSC supports are tailored to each person with respect, dignity, and a focus on what matters most to them, while ensuring safety and accountability.

- Structured community outings and engagement (e.g. volunteering, classes, arts, recreation)
- Skill development in daily living (e.g. money management, transportation, social skills)
- Vocational and pre-employment support (exploration, training, coaching)
- Peer and group connection opportunities
- Ongoing coaching, assessment, and adaptation to help each participant make progress
