🌻 Special Education Advocacy

Empowering Families to Navigate Education with Confidence
Understanding your child’s educational rights can be overwhelming — but you don’t have to face it alone.
ASAP’s Special Education Advocacy services guide families through the Individualized Education Program (IEP) and 504 processes, helping ensure that every student receives the supports they need to succeed.
We bridge the gap between families and schools by clarifying expectations, promoting collaboration, and centering the student’s voice in every discussion.

Our Philosophy
Advocacy is about empowerment — not conflict.
Our goal is to help families understand their rights, strengthen communication with school teams, and create positive partnerships that lead to better outcomes for students.
We believe that when families and schools work together, everyone wins — and students thrive.

Services We Provide
  • IEP & 504 Consultation: Review of evaluations, reports, and educational plans.
  • Meeting Support: Attend or prepare for IEP meetings to ensure your child’s needs are accurately represented.
  • Education Planning: Help families identify goals, accommodations, and evidence-based supports.
  • Training & Coaching: Educate families on their legal rights, IDEA guidelines, and effective collaboration.
  • Document Review & Feedback: Ensure educational documents reflect the student’s needs and abilities.
  • Transition Planning: Assist with preparing for middle school, high school, or postsecondary supports.
